IST INTERNATIONAL EVENTS

Seasons of conferences are held, mainly in our associated centres in Europe, in affiliation with IETH-CMI - Geneva. International seminars are also held, with the aim of developing new management techniques and enabling professionals to exchange ideas.

 
JUNIOR COUNCIL

Appointed and run by the Institute, this works like a real consultancy for businesses. It helps carry out market surveys in the fields of tourism and leisure. Students who take this option make themselves available to international businesses for surveys or setting up tourism-related products overseas.

 
STUDENT COUNCIL

The Centre's students elect a student council every year. The council's role is to ensure that students are properly welcomed at the beginning of the year; particularly those coming from outside Paris or overseas. The varied activities include: a press review, a sports service, an information service in schools and colleges, participation in World Tourism Week events, the Student's Fair, the Institute's International Club and receptions for high-profile personalities.

 
LIBRARY

The library and the IETH-IST documentation centre enables students to consult periodicals and other documents the management field and in various languages, either for their work or personal projects. A great deal of documentation is available on tourism-related companies, in the form of databases, CD ROMs, etc.
